China Airlines has introduced a new daily flight service between Taichung, Taiwan, and Okinawa, Japan, enhancing its presence in the Japanese market. This new route increases the airline’s total weekly round-trip flights between Taiwan and Japan to over 170, marking a significant expansion in its connectivity offerings.

The service, conducted using an Airbus A321neo aircraft, features Flight CI310 departing Taichung at 10:00 a.m. and arriving in Okinawa at 12:40 p.m. The return leg, Flight CI311, departs from Okinawa at 1:40 p.m. and touches down in Taichung at 2:10 p.m., providing a convenient schedule for travelers.

Further amplifying this connectivity, China Airlines plans to launch a second daily service starting August 13. The additional flight, CI312, will leave Taichung at 3:20 p.m. and land in Okinawa at 6:00 p.m. Conversely, the return flight, CI313, is scheduled to depart Okinawa at 7:00 p.m. and arrive back in Taichung at 7:30 p.m., offering even more options for travelers.

With these new flights, along with existing services from Taipei and Kaohsiung, China Airlines will operate approximately 30 round-trip flights to Okinawa each week. This expansion not only enhances travel options for both business and leisure passengers but also reinforces the airline’s commitment to strengthening ties between Taiwan and Japan.
