China, India to Commence 25th Boundary Negotiations Session

China and India are gearing up for the 25th round of Special Representatives’ Talks focused on resolving their longstanding Boundary Question, as confirmed by Chinese Foreign Ministry spokesperson Guo Jiakun. During a regular press briefing, Guo indicated that both nations are actively communicating about border-related matters and are working towards implementing the decisions made in their previous discussions.

The ongoing diplomatic efforts come as Chinese Foreign Minister Wang Yi visits New Delhi to participate in the 16th Meeting of BRICS National Security Advisors and High Representatives on National Security. During his stay, Wang held discussions with Indian National Security Adviser Ajit Doval, underscoring the importance of maintaining dialogue between the two countries.

Guo highlighted that the overall situation along the China-India border remains stable, emphasizing that communication channels are functioning smoothly between the two sides. He reiterated that both countries are committed to putting into action the agreements reached during the 24th round of talks.

The upcoming discussions are anticipated to further these efforts, concentrating on managing border disputes and ensuring peace and stability along the shared frontier. This continued dialogue reflects the commitment of both China and India to addressing their border issues through diplomatic means.
