China Denies Netanyahu’s Claims of Assisting Iran with Missile Components

Date:

In response to allegations made by Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, China has reiterated its stance regarding the accusations of aiding Iran in missile production. During an interview, Netanyahu suggested that China had played a role in supporting Iran with specific missile components, a claim that he openly criticized.

Chinese Foreign Ministry spokesperson Guo Jiakun addressed these claims on Tuesday, emphasizing that China has repeatedly clarified its position on such matters. Guo firmly stated that China, as a responsible global power, consistently adheres to its international commitments. The spokesperson highlighted China’s dedication to conflict resolution, peace promotion, and efforts to de-escalate tensions in the region.

Guo’s comments underscored China’s dismissal of the accusations as unfounded and lacking evidence. The spokesperson stressed that the Chinese government has always strictly fulfilled its obligations on the international stage and rejected any baseless allegations.

The exchange comes amid heightened scrutiny of China’s role in international conflicts, with Netanyahu’s remarks bringing additional attention to the complex dynamics involving Iran’s missile capabilities. China remains steadfast in its rejection of claims that it is contributing to instability in the region.
